Tuber Uncinatum Class A, better known as the Burgundy truffle, is a prized edible mushroom species belonging to the truffle family (Tuberaceae). It is a close relative of the famous black truffle Tuber Melanosporum. The Burgundy truffle is native to Europe and grows in calcareous soils in symbiosis with the roots of certain trees, such as oak, hazel, and beech.
